First Blog

I am very circumspect about starting a blog. You might even say reluctant.

Oh well folks here we go into the mind of a semi-literate old man. This blog will not be about politics though there might be some political comments. There might even be comments about religion, philosophy or even the weather. I am not, I repeat not an expert in any of these topics. I am however opinionated and semi-literate. I am open minded but I am kind of “long in the tooth”. For those under 25 that means I am getting old. Some things thing you will not find here is profanity or pornography. I am not apposed to these things; this is just not the place for either. I am still learning about the settings and such of the blog program I have chosen but if I am able I will delete comments that contain these things and hatefulness. If ever I say something on this blog that you find hurtful, please let me know. I will take another look at it and remove it if your complaint is valid. Do try to remember my opinion does not have to be the same as yours and visa-versa.

I am a 50, almost 51 year old man that is living in the Midwest. I was for the most part raised in a large city in south east Texas. I spent about 30 years in customer service, which is code for I fixed other peoples broken stuff. I currently drive a school bus. I have three wonderful children of my own and I was privileged to be involved far too briefly in the upbringing of two other children. All of them are now adults and in general awesome people. I am a slave to two cats, one dog and one bearded dragon. Stay tuned to this channel for more nonsense.
